It was a good run, but Edison Private unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Academy for Innovative Education Aviators, falling 3-0. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Aviators when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Edison Private was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-20.

Edison Private's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Academy for Innovative Education, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 4-12 record.

Coming up, Edison Private will square off against Horeb Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Academy for Innovative Education, they will face off against Divine Savior Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
