Baseball Recap: Warren Central Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Warren Central's offense. They came up short against the North Central Panthers on Wednesday, falling 14-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost five in a row.

Warren Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Vokes, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Vokes has snagged this season.

Warren Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for North Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Warren Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-7 win against Beech Grove on the 18th. As for North Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Park Tudor on the 17th.
