            Flag Football Recap: Milton Eagles vs. Allatoona Buccaneers        
        
		
        
        
            After losing to Allatoona the last time they met, Milton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eagles came out on top against the Buccaneers by a score of  25-18  on Wednesday.
Milton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Audrey Jensen led the charge by throwing for 285 yards and four  touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt.  Caroline Marshall also helped out as she racked up 146 receiving yards.
 Milton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Alana Calhoun.
 Allatoona's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Caroline Kaiser, who picked up 96 receiving yards and one  score.  Lyla Paradiso was another key player, having thrown for 281 yards and two touchdowns.
Milton's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Allatoona, their  defeat was their first of the  season and  makes their record 2-1.
 Coming up, Milton will square off against Johns Creek at 7:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Eagles 7.9, the Gladiators 10.4) so any  points scored will be well earned. As for Allatoona, they have already played their next game,  a  27-7  win against North Paulding on the 27th.
