They came out on top against the Wilkes Central Eagles by a score of 29-17. For the Golden Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 28-14 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2023.
Mason Jewell had an outrageously good game as he threw for 191 yards and two touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Allen Huffman helped Jewell out on the ground, rushing for 80 yards and a touchdown.
