Crossroads Christian Academy hadn't done well against Victory Christian Academy recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Crusaders walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Soldiers. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Soldiers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Crossroads Christian Academy took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-0.

Despite the defeat, Victory Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Victoria Ragin had seven digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Ragin.

The victory made it two in a row for Crossroads Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-6. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-5 Victory Christian Academy and 2-6 Wayne Christian Academy. As for Victory Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crossroads Christian Academy will take on Appling Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will square off against Wayne Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
