Softball Game Preview: Racine Lutheran Crusaders vs. Shoreland Lutheran Pacers

For the second straight game, Racine Lutheran will face off against Shoreland Lutheran. The Crusaders will be playing at home against the Pacers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Racine Lutheran is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Racine Lutheran's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Tuesday's struggle, when Shoreland Lutheran hitters got past them. The Crusaders lost 11-1 to the Pacers on Tuesday. The game marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Racine Lutheran saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Ramos, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Racine Lutheran's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-3. As for Shoreland Lutheran, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
