Softball Recap: New Haven Comes Up Short

New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils, falling 12-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in April.

New Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Grosse Pointe South, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.

New Haven will challenge Port Huron at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grosse Pointe South, they will host Marine City at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
