Basketball Recap: Payne Tech Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Payne Tech had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 68-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northern Highlands Highlanders.

Northern Highlands' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Corey Begleiter, who posted 16 points and six steals. Those six steals gave Begleiter a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Isaac Anderson, who went 6-for-9 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds.

Payne Tech has already played their next game (against East Orange Campus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Northern Highlands, they will be home for the holidays to greet Don Bosco Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
