Hialeah Gardens's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Norland Vikings. The win was some much needed relief for the Gladiators as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Hialeah Gardens had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-14.

Hialeah Gardens' victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Norland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Hialeah Gardens will take on Ransom Everglades at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Norland, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Homestead at 3:30 p.m.
