Volleyball Game Preview: Goldwater Bulldogs vs. Moon Valley Rockets

The Goldwater Bulldogs will challenge the Moon Valley Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Goldwater will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Paradise Honors came into Friday's game looking for another win against Goldwater, but Brandan Tran wouldn't allow it. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1 on Friday with plenty of help from Tran, who had four digs and one block. He has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 24 times he's played.

Goldwater had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Moon Valley came into Monday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cesar Chavez on Monday, sneaking past 3-2.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-14. As for Goldwater, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
