Softball Recap: Rossview Gets the Win

Rossview's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Collierville Dragons get on the board and left with a 7-0 win.

Collierville's batters probably weren't too happy with Avery Rauscher, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 11 Ks (she gave up zero walks). Rauscher has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on McKenzie Quick, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Addyson Waller, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Rossview now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Collierville, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-10-1.

As of now, neither Rossview nor the Dragons have any future games scheduled.
