Baseball Game Preview: Ardmore Tigers vs. Sulphur Bulldogs

For the second straight game, Ardmore will face off against Sulphur. Ardmore will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Sulphur at 5:00 p.m. Ardmore has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ardmore came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-3 to Sulphur. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

For Sulphur's part, Colten Cole and Luke Linville did most of the damage at the plate: Cole went 1-for-3 with one home run and five RBI, while Linville scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. What's more, Linville posted three RBI, the most he's had over his last eight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Matlack, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Ardmore's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Sulphur, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
