Football Game Preview: Evergreen vs. Clover Park

On Friday Clover Park take on Evergreen at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close match.

While not quite a landslide, the game between Clover Park and Highline last Friday was still a pretty decisive one as Clover Park wrapped it up with a 27-7 victory. Senior Tre Mcdaniel was the offensive standout of the match for Clover Park, as he rushed for 90 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-49, which was the final score in Evergreen's tilt against Eatonville. Evergreen were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-35.

Clover Park's win lifted them to 2-0 while Evergreen's defeat dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Clover Park's success rolls on or if Evergreen are able to steal their positive momentum.
