Football Recap: St. Joseph-Ogden Skates Past Rantoul with Ease + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tolono Unity, St. Joseph-Ogden was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rantoul Eagles 56-21. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their ten-point performance the game before.

Kodey McKinney produced another solid performance throwing for 230 yards and four touchdowns while completing 94.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 57 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. Kaden Wedig also helped with two scores in total.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: St. Joseph-Ogden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

St. Joseph-Ogden's record is now 4-1. As for Rantoul, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
