Bluffton was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Woodland on Wednesday. The Bluffton Bobcats put the hurt on the Woodland Wolverines with a sharp 12-2 victory. Considering the Bobcats have won three contests by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

James Bazzel looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nate Ulmer, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Drew Emanuel, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Bluffton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bluffton's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4. As for Woodland, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Bluffton Bobcats take on Colleton County Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodland, they will take on Branchville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
