Baseball Game Preview: McKean Highlanders vs. MOT Charter Mustangs

McKean is 0-3 against MOT Charter since April of 2019 but things could change on Thursday. The Highlanders will head out on the road to take on the Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. McKean has given up an average of 7.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

McKean came up short against Mount Pleasant on Monday, falling 13-2.

McKean saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Erbayri, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, MOT Charter might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was First State Military Academy who claimed the real prize. The Mustangs fell 6-3 to the Bulldogs. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

McKean now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for MOT Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

McKean suffered a grim 16-2 defeat to MOT Charter in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Highlanders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
