Softball Recap: Perry County Central Comes Up Short

Perry County Central lost to Bracken County back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Commodores fell 11-7 to the Polar Bears.

M Shepherd made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was M Fugate, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Perry County Central's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Bracken County, their record is now 13-15-1.

Perry County Central has already played their next matchup, a 6-3 victory against Montgomery County on the 2nd. As for Bracken County, they will be playing at home against Harrison County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
