Softball Recap: Elliott County Lions vs. West Carter Comets
Elliott County put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 16-1 margin over the West Carter Comets. The high-scoring effort was just what Elliott County needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.
Hanah McDaniel was incredible, going 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Kinley Offill was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Elliott County has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for West Carter, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.
