Baseball Recap: Grafton Black Hawks vs. Slinger Owls
Grafton dropped their record down to 10-6 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They lost 7-0 to the Slinger Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in April.
As for Slinger, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.
For Slinger's part, Will Baumhardt tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Baumhardt has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

As for Slinger, they will challenge Cedarburg at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
