Basketball Game Preview: Helena Bengals vs. Capital Bruins

Helena and Capital are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but not for long. The Helena Bengals will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Capital Bruins at 3:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Helena will head into Thursday's contest out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They lost 54-34 to Hellgate. The match marked the Bengals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Capital was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 34-31 heartbreaker at the hands of Sentinel.

Helena's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Capital, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Helena beat Capital 47-34 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Does Helena have another victory up their sleeve, or will Capital turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
