Basketball Game Preview: McGraw Eagles vs. Madison Central Blue Devils

The McGraw Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Madison Central Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times McGraw and Morrisville-Eaton had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles fell 39-26 to the Mavericks on Thursday. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Mavericks since Thursday.

Meanwhile, Madison Central lost to Afton at home by a 37-23 margin on Thursday.

McGraw now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Madison Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Everything went McGraw's way against Madison Central in their previous matchup back in January, as McGraw made off with a 54-32 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
