After flying high against Temecula Valley on Friday, Great Oak came back down to earth. The Wolfpack fell just short of the San Marcos Knights by a score of 7-5 on Monday. The Wolfpack's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Great Oak's loss dropped their record down to 16-8-1. As for San Marcos, their record now sits at 12-9.

Looking ahead, Great Oak will head out on the road to face off against Temecula Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
