Volleyball Recap: Vallejo Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Vallejo and Bethel had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Redhawks came up short against the Jaguars on Monday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Vallejo's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Bethel, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Vallejo is set to face off against their familiar foe Kennedy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bethel will take on rival Hercules at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
