Volleyball Recap: McKinney Takes a Loss

McKinney lost against Amarillo back in August of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lions fell just short of the Sandies by a score of 2-1. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, McKinney sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 20-25, 25-13.

McKinney's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Amarillo, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKinney will challenge Plano at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Amarillo, they will square off against Eagle Mountain at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday.
