Basketball Recap: Follett Extends Winning Streak to Four

Follett won the last time they faced Shamrock and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Follett Panthers came out on top against the Shamrock Irish by a score of 51-42. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers who have now won four games in a row.

Despite the defeat, Shamrock saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jeff Rollerson went 10 of 22 on his way to 26 points and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Ishee, who posted five points and five rebounds.

Follett's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Shamrock, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Follett will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fort Elliott at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Shamrock, they will challenge River Road at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
