Baseball Game Preview: Excel Panthers vs. St. Paul's Episcopal Saints

The Excel Panthers will face off against the St. Paul's Episcopal Saints at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Excel has given up an average of 9.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

On Monday, Excel came up short against Blacksher and fell 12-8.

Excel saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Holden Stacey, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Another was Trent Williams, who scored two runs while going 1-for-5.

Meanwhile, St. Paul's Episcopal also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Oxford by a score of 9-4. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Excel's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
