Soccer Recap: Southridge Takes a Loss

Southridge and Homestead squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Southridge had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Homestead Broncos. The Spartans have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Southridge's loss dropped their record down to 11-5-1. As for Homestead, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1-3.

Southridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Homestead, they will face off against Miami Beach at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miami Beach is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
