Football Recap: Antigo Takes a Loss

Antigo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 21-7 bruising from the Lakeland Thunderbirds. While losing is never fun, the Red Robins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 150th).

Antigo's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lakeland, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Antigo will square off against rival Mosinee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lakeland is set to challenge their familiar foe Wausau East at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
