The Addenbrooke Classical Academy Mustangs will take on the Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Addenbrooke Classical Academy comes in on seven and Golden View Classical Academy on 13.
Addenbrooke Classical Academy will bounce into Friday's match after beating Loveland Classical, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. Addenbrooke Classical Academy came out on top against Loveland Classical by a score of 74-67 on Saturday. With that win, the Mustangs brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.

Addenbrooke Classical Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Diego Jaramilio out in front who en route to 33 points and eight rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Jaramilio now owns an excellent 47.1% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Wingrove, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards.
Addenbrooke Classical Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.
Meanwhile, Golden View Classical Academy won against Loveland Classical on Wednesday with 52 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Golden View Classical Academy secured a 52-47 W over STEM School Highlands Ranch. Given the Sentinels' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Spartans are ranked 229th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Golden View Classical Academy's win came from a few key players Addenbrooke Classical Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was George Hermanson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Luke Chronowski, who posted 16 points and six boards.
Golden View Classical Academy's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points over those games. As for Addenbrooke Classical Academy, their record now sits at 13-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Addenbrooke Classical Academy has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Golden View Classical Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 35.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
