Soccer Recap: Edison Triumphs

Edison had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the five-goal drubbing they dealt Hilldale on Saturday. The Eagles never let the Hornets get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Edison's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Edison's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hilldale, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edison will welcome Owasso at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hilldale, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Inola at 8:00 p.m. on March 3.
