Volleyball Recap: Addison Beats Meek for Their Third Straight Win

Addison had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Meek Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0).

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 27-25, 27-25, 25-14.

Ava Bartlett paced Addison's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bartlett got some help from Annabeth Powell and her 19 assists.

Addison's win bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Meek, they moved to 15-14 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Addison and Meek will both be playing Sumiton Christian the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
