Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Blue Ridge. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond was: they took both sets by at least 20 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-1.

Savannah Butcher paced Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's offense, picking up seven kills. Butcher got some help from Annabelle Vanausdoll and her seven assists. Vanausdoll was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond's win bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Blue Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.
