Basketball Recap: Santa Fe South Takes a Loss

Santa Fe South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 87-46 loss at the hands of the El Reno Indians. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while the Indians are ranked 28th).

Santa Fe South's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for El Reno, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Santa Fe South will challenge MacArthur at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for El Reno, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 45-43 victory against Memorial on the 18th.
