Basketball Recap: Livingston Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jackson Christian last Saturday, Livingston Christian came back down to earth. The Livingston Christian Falcons lost to the Southfield Christian Eagles on the road by a 70-55 margin on Monday.

Livingston Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-1. As for Southfield Christian, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Livingston Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Livingston Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy likes a good challenge. As for Southfield Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ypsilanti at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
