Basketball Recap: Addison Takes a Loss

Addison lost against Canisteo-Greenwood back in December of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Addison Knights were outmatched by the Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers and fell 79-32. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 771st, while the Chargers are ranked 232nd).

With the defeat, Addison broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-17. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Canisteo-Greenwood, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

As of now, neither Addison nor Canisteo-Greenwood have any future games scheduled.
