Baseball Game Preview: Sunset Bison vs. Tyler Legacy Raiders

The Sunset Bison will head out on the road to square off against the Tyler Legacy Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sunset managed to slip by White the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bison came up short against the Longhorns on Friday, falling 16-5.

Sunset saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dreadan Galvan, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. Galvan has become a key player for the Bison: the team is 5-2 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 10-12 otherwise. Edwin Chavez was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Tyler Legacy not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 27th (when they won 12-1). They put the hurt on Forney with a sharp 12-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Jackrabbits: they've now won four in a row.

Tyler Legacy's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Sunset, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-14 record this season.
