Basketball Recap: Newark Vocational Takes a Loss

Newark Vocational was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 54-35 to Academy Charter. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 51-49 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Newark Vocational's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Academy Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Newark Vocational will welcome Ferris at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Academy Charter, they will square off against University Academy Charter on Tuesday.
