Softball Recap: Humble Wildcats vs. Channelview Falcons
Humble came into Friday's contest having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Channelview Falcons 12-10. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Natalie Garcia made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zion Jeffrey, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Julian Suarez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
Humble hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Channelview struck out seven times.
