Volleyball Recap: Chambers Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against North Rowan on Tuesday, Chambers came back down to earth. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Butler Bulldogs on Thursday. The Cougars have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-11, 25-4.

Amaya Bailey was nothing short of spectacular for Butler: she had 12 aces and nine digs. Those 12 aces gave Bailey a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia McVetta, who had seven digs and three aces.

Chambers' defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Butler, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Chambers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Independence on the 2nd. As for Butler, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against North Mecklenburg on the 2nd.
