Mount Airy is a perfect 4-0 against Walkertown since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bears will welcome the Wolfpack at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Mount Airy is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Monday. They lost 6-0 to North Stokes. While losing is never fun, Mount Airy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 401st, while North Stokes are ranked 143rd).

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Walkertown's offense. They came up short against Bartlett Yancey on Monday, falling 7-0.

Mount Airy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Walkertown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
