Basketball Recap: Laupahoehoe Comes Up Short

Laupahoehoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Pahoa Daggers 89-15. The matchup marked the Seasiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Laupahoehoe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pahoa, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing St. Joseph the next time they take the court. Laupahoehoe will host St. Joseph at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Pahoa will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
