Baseball Game Preview: Maritime Academy Charter Seadogs vs. South Philadelphia Rams

The Maritime Academy Charter Seadogs will head out on the road to square off against the South Philadelphia Rams at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

On Thursday, Maritime Academy Charter sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over Kensington. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Seadogs.

String Theory hit South Philadelphia with a six-run second inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 12-12 tie. On the bright side, the 12- run performance marked the Rams' highest-scoring game to date.

South Philadelphia's tie makes their record 0-6-1 this season. As for Maritime Academy Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
