Soccer Recap: Central Woodstock Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Central Woodstock took on Skyline on Wednesday. The Falcons fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-2. Central Woodstock were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Skyline earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Millyon Teklemicael and Manuel Carreno scored both of Central Woodstock's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Central Woodstock's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Skyline, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Central Woodstock has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Page County on the 2nd. As for Skyline, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Kettle Run on the 28th.
