Basketball Recap: Sioux Center Takes a Loss

Sioux Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through an 82-41 loss at the hands of the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 140th in Iowa, while the Chargers are ranked first in South Dakota).

Sioux Center now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Sioux Falls Christian, their win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.

Sioux Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sioux Falls Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marshall at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
