Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Tigers vs. Alpha Omega Academy Lions + How To Watch

The Trinity Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Alpha Omega Academy Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity has given up an average of 49.6 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Monday, Trinity came up short against O'Connell and fell 58-47. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.

Despite their defeat, Trinity saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Terian Maxie, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards, was perhaps the best of all. Maxie has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Darryn Bass, who posted nine points and five steals.

Meanwhile, Alpha Omega Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 50-35 victory over Lifestyle Christian. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Victors: they've now won three in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Trinity fell to 4-1. As for Alpha Omega Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Trinity strolled past Alpha Omega Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 64-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
