Meanwhile, Hoke County came tearing into Tuesday's contest with 13 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Trojans as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hoke County took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-13.

Hoke County's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Richmond Senior, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-7.
