Clovis extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Brynn Petner. The Wildcats blew past the Hobbs Eagles 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Petner, who had 16 digs, seven kills, and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 19 times she's played.
While Clovis won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-18.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Clovis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sophie Roberts, who had ten digs and five kills. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Salazar, who had 12 assists and four digs.
