Hattiesburg skate past Terry with ease

Recap: Hattiesburg Tigers vs. Terry Bulldogs

The Hattiesburg Tigers entered their tilt with the Terry Bulldogs with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Hattiesburg breezed by Terry at home to the tune of 39-0. Considering Hattiesburg has won five matchups by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Deuce Vance had a dynamite game for Hattiesburg, rushing for 133 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, while also throwing for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Vance's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tavares Wade, who rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown.

Hattiesburg's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.67 points. As for Terry, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hattiesburg will take on West Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Jones is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Terry, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Forest Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
