Softball Game Preview: Fallston Cougars vs. Patterson Mill

For the second straight game, Fallston will face off against Patterson Mill. The Cougars will head out on the road to square off against Patterson Mill at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Fallston 2.7, Patterson Mill 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Fallston had been on a six-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Patterson Mill put an end to it on Monday. The Cougars took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Patterson Mill. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Ally Underwood spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances.
