 Copper Hills is 1-9 against Bingham since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The Copper Hills Grizzlies will stay at home for another  game and welcome the Bingham Miners at 3:30  p.m. Both teams come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Tuesday, Copper Hills narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past Maple Mountain  6-5.
  Kennedy Jennings made a big impact no matter where she played. She  tossed 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). Jennings was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Anslie Yazzie, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Bingham can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  10-3 margin over Tooele. The  victory was just what Bingham needed coming off of  a  12-4 defeat in their prior  contest.
 Copper Hills' win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Bingham, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
 Copper Hills suffered a grim  19-4 defeat to Bingham  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023. Thankfully for Copper Hills,  Shelbee Jones (who  went 3-for-5 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
